Onion & White Bean Spread

Onion and White Bean Spread
1 can cannellini or Great Northern beans, rinsed and drained (15 oz)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup minced green onions
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
1 T. fresh rosemary leaves, finely chopped
Additional olive oil
French bread slices
Place all ingredients except additional olive oil and bread slices in food processor. Process 30 to 40 seconds or until mixture is almost smooth. Spoon bean mixture into serving bowl. Drizzle additional olive oil over spread just before serving. Serve with bread slices. Makes 1 1/4 cups.
Tip: for a more rustic spread, place all ingredients in a medium bowl and mash with a potato masher.
