No catalogs...I don't shop by mail so I don't get catalogs.

I sometimes purchase scrubs from a catalogue. However, more often then not, I end up having to send something back for exchange. It's easier to just get them locally. I don't get many other catalogues. I sometimes browse through them, but usually toss them.
Right now I'm halfway through Steven King's book, 'On Writing'. The first section is autobiographical and then the rest is his discussions of writing and the elements involved. He had a teaching degree and taught highschool English before his writing career took off.
Most get tossed except for Chadwicks of Boston and the Brylane Kitchen catalogs. I did keep the Lands End catalog just to look through it.
As for reading material I finished Norah Roberts's 'The Gift' consisting of two Christmas stories. One was written in 1986 and the other in 1994, but they are still wonderfully romantic and delightful to read. For some reason every Holiday season this mood comes over to indulge in romantic Christmas stories - contemporary and historical. The only other book I'm currently reading is Emily Carmichael's 'The Cat's Meow'. Light, contemporary romance with a talking cat. *g*

Well, I am still working on SK's book, 'On Writing'. I gave up on 'Pilgrim of Tinker Creek'. It's just over my head.
I picked up a book by Marion Zimmer Bradley that I've had around called, 'Witchlight'. It was a little hard to get into, but I stuck with it and now I'm hooked.
Payday! I just got back from the bookstore where I bought the original, 'Bridget Jones's Diary', which I've never read or seen, and I also got, 'The Rule of Four'. Now I'm set for awhile.
With INDIA as our international country in the spotlight, I read the short mystery "Inspector Ghote Breaks an Egg" by H.R.F. Keating.
