I'm still working on Hallelujah for my book club. We had our meeting last night and no one had finished it yet. Not even the reviewer. I guess we're all too busy right now. I had to wait for it to come in from the library and haven't had it very long.

I'm about 3/4 done with Legal Tender by Lisa Scottoline. When I first started I wasn't quite sure I'd like it, but now I'm dying to finish to find out "who did it". Should be interesting. I ordered and received The Cat Who Went Bananas, but there is also a book from the library that I requested that came in, so that will have to be first. Gae

I am in the middle of reading Chesapeake Bay by Nora Roberts. It's pretty good. I just finished reading Full Tilt by Janet Evanovich and Charlotte Hughes, and I loved it.

Unfortunately I just couldn't get into the group read, Mrs. Dalloway. I didn't make it past the first chapter, just not for me I guess. :(

I'm still reading James Marshall's 'The Journey of Crazy Horse: A Lakota History', but have also started D. Daniel Judson's 'Bone Orchard' and the first of Ann Ripley's gardening mystery series titled 'Mulch'. Have any of you read Ripley's books?

Hi Teri,
Yes, the Bennie R. books are part of a series. The friend who gave it to me was looking for something I hadn't read yet and knows I like to read series books. So, here's a new series for me to enjoy. I finished the book on Friday and was happy with the way it turned out. The bad guys got what they deserved, and she (Bennie) got a little peace and happiness. So we'll see what happens next. I picked up my books from the library today. I got Tippy-Toe Murder by Leslie Meier, Chile Death by Susan Wittig Albert and Horseplay by Judy Reene Singer. Haven't decided which one to read first. If I see a copy of her book 'Mulch' at Half Price books this week will send on to you, Teri. So far it's pretty good. Here's a link from www.stopyourekillingme.com that lists her books. Enjoy!

Oh yea! Also checked out Cleo Coyle's book 'On What Grounds'. A cozy mystery with a coffee theme! Locale is a NYC coffeehouse with descriptions of java that make my mouth water!

I'm just finishing my 4th Dean Koontz this month. It's called, 'By the Light of the Moon' and is very good. I'm totally enjoying it. I have about 40 pages left and will finish it when I'm done posting here. It is about a couple of guy and a girl who are injected with a mysterious substance and told that if they live through the next couple of days of being pursued by bad guys, the substance will do some interesting things to them. They begin to experience some interesting powers as they run, with the bad guys hot on their heels.

I will be starting Nora Roberts 'Key Trilogy' in the next few days. My sis is saving them for me.
