How beautiful. May I ask how long ago you started the garden?

We started the garden about 4 maybe 5 years ago,it used to look like a weed field,we put in all the gardens and seeded,it's still a work in progress,i really enjoy walking around, there is always something new to look at,this time of the year is the best,it looks so green and fresh.I have really enjoyed choosing plants and shrubs,i have had to move some around, but thats the great thing about perenuals.

SHOULD WE ASK HER WHERE SHE LIVES...LOL
I have a big back yard to do. I am actually overwhelmed. Several pot holes. Riveting from neighbors tree roots. A lot of slanting ground, almost steep to walk on. Wild strawberries, wood violets and weeds are what the lawn consists of. Hardly any grass. Oddly big patches of liriope(monkey grass) I have started an island where all the depressions have formed from tree roots. If I had the money I would have someone come in and tear up roots. Oh my goodness. Too much work to think about.

Show me pictures and suggestions.

Wow - the fountain is awesome! :) So are the plants of course. I just love seeing different adornments in people yards.
