Planting & taking care of herbs/veg

Hi, I used to grow herbs years ago for my cooking adventures/recipes... but it's been so long I don't remember specifics. My SO and I want to start a garden outside our kitchen window in this long rectangular plantar box that the previous owners of the house planted stuff in. First we're going to get it cleared out and put new soil in there, and then plant our herbs and veggies. Is there a specific time of year that you have to plant:

7-tomatos on the vine

8-dill (weed)

10-chili peppers

The overall plantar box gets partial shade and only full sun in the morning. I remember my cilantro previously couldnt tolerate a lot of sun, rosemary seemed fine with some full sun but partial shade was best. I can't remember about the others I listed.

Any advice would be much appreciated. We're excited about getting our little garden growing :-)

Generally, most herbs and vegetables are planted in spring in full to partial sun, but it depends on what part of the country you are in. Once established,
