If I'm going to be doing alot of dirty gardening then yes I'll wear gloves but if I'm just trimming a few things or transplanting a few pots then I dont bother with gloves.

If I'm using the shovel or rake I always wear gloves to keep from getting

I keep my gloves in the garage and when I go to put them on I'm sooooo nervous that there will be a critter up in the finger of one.

I have several pair of gloves...and usually forget to wear them until it is way too late...lol...I also prefer the feel of the dirt in my hands....I know I am strange...lol....I wear gloves always if I rake or shovel...to protect from blisters. Hugs, Ruth

As I was potting the first of the tomatoes I SHOULD have been wearing gloves cuz I got a nasty scratch on my hand!

I know I should wear them all the time and usually do when I'm doing heavy work or using a tool

I almost always wear gloves. I have a lightweight cotton pair for when I am doing transplanting and need to be able to feel the stems/plants. I have a heavy duty pair that is canvas/leather for any heavier type work like pruning, digging, etc.
