it snowed. lol! we have had a really mild winter and while I was still expecting some cool temp the snow was quite a surprise. IT had all melted by afternoon, but......Wondering how the little carrots we planted will do with 70 degrees one day and covered in snow the next. I guess we will see.

Since they come up so slowly by the time they peak above the soil, it could be 1-2 weeks down the road, so i dont think it should be a problem. will keep my fingers crossed!!

Oh gosh, they should be just fine. We didn't realize that our boys planted carrots in their little garden in the back yard until just a few weeks ago. They had been planted last year sometime and they survived the entire winter here in Central Texas and we had several days of below freezing temperatures. (it gets down into the low teens in the hill country) They were a little crooked, but I think that has more to do with the type of soil we have here than the temp. They were still super yummy and so sweet!
