I grow parsley every year becouse it is very high in nutrition. Everyone really should eat more parsley, not just use it as a decoration or condiment.
Parsley is slow starting out, so if you plant it from seed, I suggest you start it indoors 6 to 8 weeks before your outdoor planting season.

Question for you on herb plants!
Most herbs require full sun, but some will survive indoors if you have a very bright location. I have been unable to grow Parsley indoors, but I have had some success with Rosemary and Thyme. I suggest you start with small cuttings planted in 3" pots. If they do well and grow big, they will certainly need larger pots over time.
Well I currently have a mexican oregano plant in the window over sink in the kitchen. its in a 4 " bedding pot(you know like you get at the garden centers) and I do need to repot it, or else will take cuttings and put them in another pot!!
