My TBR pile has toppled over with all the books I've checked out! Finished Peter Moore Smith's book "Raveling" in one evening yesterday. Chilling and suspenseful! It's a thriller and one that requires attention to detail but WOW! Here's a review if interested: www.iloveagoodmystery.com/i_love_a_good_mystery/2005/01/raveling.html

Also reading Jon Talton's 'Dry Heat', finishing Ann Ripley's 'Mulch' and Cleo Coyle's 'On What Grounds'.

I'm still pugging away on Hallelujah. I'm not sure why it's taking me so long. It is almost 600 pages but still I started it two weeks ago. That is not my norm that's for sure. I hope to finish it today or tomorrow though. Then I'll be grabbing another Jodi Picoult off of my stack from the library.

I'm reading London by Edward Rutherfurd...historical fiction, following generations of Londoners from 54 BC to present day. I'm a third of the way thru it...on page 400, out of 1126 pages! lol

This is gonna take me a while! ;)

I love Edward Rutherfurd's books. I've read London twice. You have to read the other too. Sarum, The Forest, Ruska. His latest is the Princes of Ireland the first half of the two volumne Dublin Saga. I'm anxiously awaiting the second volume.

Just started The Five People You Meet in Heaven and already love it. I think I'll have to break down and read Tuesdays with Morrie, too. Almost through Mrs. Dalloway. Really enjoying such a completely different style.

Teri, I LOVE Tracy Chevalier. Did you read Falling Angels about the women's liberation movement in London?

Today I finished Tippy-Toe Murder which is the second in the series by Leslie Meier. Her character Lucy Stone is a wife and mother in Tinker's Cove, Maine who has a nose for mysteries. A nice, light, enjoyable read. Next it will be either Susan Wittig Albert's Chile Death or a book called Horseplay (can't remember the author right now, a new one for me). Once I finish my library books, I have The Cat Who Went Bananas that I bought!! Gae

Let's see this week I've read Jodi Picoult's Perfect Match and her My Sister's Keeper. They were both great! I can't wait to read more of Jodi. Then I read a Belva Plain novel, I think it was called Her Father's House. Now I'm about half way through Barbara Kingsolver's The Poisonwood Bible. I'm actually really enjoying it, eventhough it's not really my style.

I picked up the first Stephanie Plum novel One For The Money, from the library this week, and am quite anxious to read it.

I just finished the first Harry Potter :P and started book 5 in the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. I'm new to this board and am looking forward to the monthly readings!

Brightest Blessings,
