I've got 102 pages left of London by Edward Rutherfurd...I'm on page 1024 of 1126! I'm going to finish it today. WOO HOO! Loved it and would recommend it if you like historical fiction. Plus, it's the longest book I've ever read! I'm so proud of myself...LOL! ;)

Next, it's The Known World by Edward P. Jones...about a freed slave who becomes a slave owner. I've heard it excellent and it won the Pulitzer last year. I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm reading Midnight Bayou by Nora Roberts, it's really good of course, all hers are. Then I'm going to start Smart Women by Judy Blume. I'm anxious to read it, as I love her writing.

I just started Wizard and Glass(4 in King's Dark Tower series). I think I've given up on the Bad Dirt. Isn't bad, but didn't grab me.

I just finished, 'The Serpent's Trail', by Sue Henry. I really enjoyed it! It was just a delightful little mystery to read. I'm on the last of Nora Robert's 'Key Trilogy', 'Key of Valor'. My sister is going to lend me her new book, 'Northern Lights'.

I'm also reading a non-fiction book about midlife called, 'Changing Coarse'. It's a collection of upbeat, stories of midlife experiences. When I'm finished I will start, 'Salem

I just finished Bel Canto by Anne Patchett. It was quite fascinating. Now I'm reading Eats, Shoots, and Leaves by Lynne Truss. It is very fun. Next will be Mercy by Jodi Picoult.

Just finish reading Fade to Red by Linda Castillo, and I
hoped to start reading Girl with the pearl earring in a few
days.

Julie:

EATS, SHOOTS, AND LEAVES just has to be one of the funniest titles in the whole world. I'm glad it's also a fun read. Isn't it about grammar? It's definitely on my TBR list!

Enjoy Salem Falls - it's a good one! It was the first that I read by Picoult, and I've been hooked on her books since.

I just finished The Second Summer of the Sisterhood, which I just loved. I'm now reading Under the Banner of Heaven by Jon Krakauer. It seems pretty intense, so for something lighter, I'm also reading The Main Corpse by Diane Mott Davidson.
