Beadboard in bathroom?

I am currently redoing our bathroom in an asian theme. I have painted the walls a green, but somehow I think I need to break up the color a bit. Would beadboard work in an asian themed room, or is there another way to do this? Or should I leave it as is? LOL. TIA for any suggestions!

Hi Anna!

Good to see you back.

White is nice, but I would try to match the stain to your vanity color if it's wood. Much better than white for the Asian bamboo look.

Yeah, it's more of a "zen" type of theme, I guess, is how I'd describe it. I have the green walls, then some bamboo mats & Japanese prints I made, and of course candles (I LOVE candles, lol). I also am planning to

I decided against the beadboard afterall, lol. We decided the bathroom looks good without it. We're thinking about using it in the kitchen, but we'll see. I agree it would make the bathroom look smaller. It's not tiny, but I definitely don't want to minimize it,lol. LOL at the white with the asian. We're actually painting our vanity white. Mainly because we need to cover up a couple flaws + our baseboard is white. I'll just try to coordinate them as much as possible, lol.

Thanks for the link, it looks interesting. =)
