Color Coordinating Issue

We recently painted 3 walls in our den a beautiful, light, mossy sage green color. The other we painted a nice cream, as it goes from the kitchen, den, and all the way down to the end of the hall. We have a tan couch and loveseat, dark mahoganey coffee and end tables, and a brown leather recliner. We also used a mocha-colored faux suede drape that we keep open over our lighter wood blinds. We have bright white trim (that we also painted) and an orangey-red brick fireplace. Our artwork also contains lots of orangy-reds. All that being said, It looks fantastic and I think your color-scheme taste is impeccable!

The good thing about using a neutral tone in your furniture is that you have the freedom to change your color scheme at any point by painting a wall and changing out accessories. You may want to consider that when picking your new furniture.

I think you are right on in wanting dark wood for your dining table and I think it will really contrast the orangey trim nicely.
