Ah..thank you but I'm not planning on doing any painting.

And as per measurments given the ceiling is slanted....

That's why I think it lends itself to the 'attic' do.

Ticking wallpaper is white with navy stripes in it as ticking.

My BIL bought a house where they wallpapered the ceiling in a few rooms. The one I saw was a laundry room which wasn't a HUGE room, where they had done two different patterns - one for the walls and one on the ceiling. Now part of it was the pattern chosen for the walls: a LARGE herringbone forest green and white check! Enough to give one a headache when walking into the place! SOOO bad BIL hadn't even noticed the print on the ceiling in matching colors. I have the dubious honor of being the person who exclaimed "They even papered the ceiling!"!!!

Unless you are able to listen to some very ripe language, do NOT ask my BIL how hard it was to de-paper that room... let alone repair the walls since the paper wasn't applied properly in the dry wall.

My reccomendation? Avoid papering the ceiling. It is JUST too much trouble if you change your mind.

And really, the eye needs someplace restful to rest in a room.
