What goes with green?

Hello everyone, this is my first time at this board. My fiance and I just bought our first house, which we absolutely love. The living room has 6 windows and is full of beautiful natural light and has white carpet and a pastel green color for the walls. I love the color, and the previous owners had a purple couch which did work well in the room. However, we do not like the idea of a purple couch and did find an amazing affordable dark brown leather couch we want. With the couch we would also want darker end tables and a coffee table. I'm worried this won't work well with the room since it is so light. Any advice???
