Beverage center , Marvel, $1,599 . This specialized fridge has separate temperature zones for wine and other drinks, with room for 14 bottles on slide-out racks in the wine section and 133 12-ounce cans in the beverage section.
Convection microwave , Dacor, $689. A convection microwave circulates hot air with a small fan, so it can roast and crisp food like a conventional oven at microwave speed. The Dacor has two racks and features automatic functions.
Dishwasher drawer , Fisher & Paykel Double Dishdrawer, $1,399. This dishwasher runs one load or two and fits in the same space as a standard model. Certified remodeler Tim Sweeney, of Madison, Wis., praises dishwasher drawers for their quietness.
Warming drawer , GE Monogram, $988 . Warming drawers are designed to keep hot food ready to serve. This one has a 1.9-cubic-foot capacity and can be set to anywhere from 75 to 230 degrees.
