possibilities! Everything from red (see our threads at http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-hgfirsthome&msg=3269.1 and http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-hgfirsthome&msg=3091.3 ) to green, yellow or blue (http://messageboards.ivillage.com/n/mb/message.asp?webtag=iv-hgfirsthome&msg=3194.1 )! As the author of the following article says:

"Since you spend so much time in the kitchen, it's important to pick colors you love, that inspire you, and that welcome friends and family members. Whether you're tackling a total kitchen re-do or a putting a coat of paint on the walls, you can create a more delicious kitchen, with color."

Color is the inspiration of many great kitchen decorating ideas!

Add more color:

Add new decorative light switch covers for instant color. Forget about beige and boring white add some excitement to the room with bright colors.

Use flowers, candles, vases and other decorative elements to add color.

Small appliances: All appliances including mixers, coffee makers and small gadgets now come in some great colors. Pick from red – green – blue – black – pink – the list goes on.
