Does your local newspaper include book reviews?
Pages
Our local paper has a one-page review on Sundays. But our library has a print edition of Book Pages. I know it's online, but I like the paper copy too. I go through it each month and put 2 or 3 books on the tbr list. Some I get am don't finish, but several are great reads.
I also go through the book club offers, search the title(s) & authors and reserve them at the library rather than buy them. Hee hee.

Every Sunday I pulled the A&E section to see what books are reviewed. Once in a while a review or two will inspire me to look for it at the library. But I also get a number of online e-newsletters from publishers like RandomHouse, Simon Schuster, etc. on various genres that give summaries/reviews. Those are my favorite to read. I also grab a free copy of 'Bookpage' from the local library to see what's out there. This month's issue had quite a few that interested me and wrote down a list of titles/writers. One of the best online magazines is www.januarymagazine.com in which you can also subscribe free to get the monthly e-newsletter.

Hi Sue,
www.bookreporter.com is a favorite site for me also (online).
Re: Pages & Bookmark which you pick up at B&N...Hmmm!!!
Teri,
Nice question.
Hi Teri,
"Pages" is monthly - costs around 2.50
"Bookmarks" is by-monthly - costs around 4.00
I really enjoy both. In Pages there are alot of advertisements.
Teri, I get my book reviews from People magazine, our local library's website, the Doubleday website, and Literary Guild website for the most part. Links are for the websites:
www.doubleday.com
www.literaryguild.com
The Multnomah County Library is a fountain of info but I'm pretty sure you have to have a library card to access most of their categories.
