How do you feel about spicy food?

What kinds of condiments do you add to food in order to spice things up a bit?

Not counting salt and pepper, what’s your favorite flavor enhancer when cooking?

What’s the spiciest food you’ve ever eaten?

How do you spice up your daily life (or do you)?

How do you feel about spicy food? === I like spicy but not so spicy that you get second-degree burns, KWIM?

What kinds of condiments do you add to food in order to spice things up a bit? === Tony Chachere's Original Seasoning (we got hooked on it in Houston) http://www.cajunmarket.com/tony-original-seasoning-p-181.html?osCsid=14dbf0854362cfb5fef6dbc7d6db8ee1 and if the recipe calls for tomatoes, I tend toward Rotel http://www.texmex.net/Rotel/main.htm

Not counting salt and pepper, what’s your favorite flavor enhancer when cooking? === Dill for fish, Italian Seasoning for soups

What’s the spiciest food you’ve ever eaten? === Thai in Thailand! WOW!

How do you spice up your daily life (or do you)? === I prefer my daily life to be bland, thank you very much!

Your DH's hot wings sound intriguing!

My DH turns purple and starts to sweat prolifically when he gets ANY hot spicy food! So I have to tame what I cook down for him. I miss my cayenne and red pepper flakes!

I remember the first tine I ate Korean. Boy, was that food surprising --- I remember a spinach dish that was SUPER hot in spice but ice cold in temperature. WOOOOOO!

How do you feel about spicy food?

I looooooooooove spicy food!

What kinds of condiments do you add to food in order to spice things up a bit?

There are so many kinds of sambals (chili sauces) and spicy salsas that are easy to make or buy here.

Not counting salt and pepper, what’s your favorite flavor enhancer when cooking?

I use a lot of herbs and spices, it depends on what I'm making. I love cumin when cooking meat for example. Rosemary and thyme are also favourites of mine.

What’s the spiciest food you’ve ever eaten?

Hmm. Spicy grilled fish in Manado. I told them to not make it spicy, and they said it wasn't. I had fire coming out of my mouth and I just couldn't eat. I ate chicken nuggets for the rest of the trip.

How do you spice up your daily life (or do you)?

Hah! Right now life is somewhat boring...
