Just as your self-imposed book buying ban is ending, Teri, mine is just about ready to begin.

Hi Teri.

I also went to Borders and used my coupon. I purchased "The Known World". It is a pulitzer prize winner and the book Oprah says everyone should read.

I saw "The Pink Carnation" there and thought it looked good. We have a new Borders near us and it is an outlet. They have GREAT buys and alot of books!!! Sue

Oh, Teri! I just got Willig's book from the library last week and can't wait to read it! Am almost done with Barbara Samuels new book then next is Willig's novel. What a terrific idea for her book and she's working on the sequel. And being fan of 'The Scarlet Pimpernel' this is gonna be fun!

Seems a lot of my favorite authors have books published at the same time.

All mysteries -- of course:

The Blood-Dimmed Tide by Rennie Airth

Dead Run by P. J. Tracy

Cut and Run by Ridley Pearson

The Innocent by Harlan Coben

Hard Truth by Nevada Barr

Trial by Fire by D. W. Buffa

Still have more ordered coming out this summer. I better get back to reading.

I have also been trying not to do a lot of buying- still so mnay on the shelves and of course the library has been a huge help. It started with a great deal from my book club on a series that i just discovered so I just had to buy all three. Then I was browsing the book shelves at Wal-MArt of all places while my hubby was in electronics. Add three more books to my pile.

Who could resist a book titled "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evie"

Hi Harriet,

Quite a bit of buzz about Harlan Coben's new one, "The Innocent".
