First, sorry to have been MIA lately...Administrative Professionals Day (formerly Secretary's Day) and Mother's Day is an extremely busy season for me and it's finally over. Whew!

Ok, so we've had conversations about books that are widely loved that we secretly hate and I think we've made some good personal progress ;-)

So...anyone enjoy a book that everyone seems to hate? I'm in the middle of the new YaYa and I have to tell you that only 4 of the 38 amazon reviews were positive. I'm kind of embarrased that I'm enjoying it. I mean it's not War & Peace or anything, but I love the characters.

Anyone know what I mean?

The other is a movie called, 'Priest', I think. It brought the subject of homosexuality and the priesthood into focus before the current abuse scandal had broke the news. If I remember right, it did not involve pedophilia, but more just homosexuality between a young priest and another young man. He was caught in the act in a car and as the scandal broke, members of the congregation demanded he be excommunicated. They were so viscious and condemning. As the movie progressed, we saw how many of the congregation were themselves involved in scandalous behavior. One was a man abusing his daughter, another was an alcoholic wife-beater and the elder priest had
