Morning Teri!
No, "Footprints" isn't his newest - it was released in 2003. He does have a new one - "Blood Memory"? And yes, I've read "24 Hours", and believe it or not, thought it was more predictable than his other books. I've read all of his books, except the latest one, but "Spandau Phoenix" remains my favorite.
Too many books - too little time!!!

As you see by my avatar, I'm reading Mystic River, by Dennis Lehayne. It's good, but kind of depressing and often heartbreaking to read. If you saw the movie, it follows that closely, but goes into even more detail. It's about a murder of the daughter of one of a group of friends. The killer was abducted and abused as a child and has lingering problems from it, but all the friends have issues and intertwined guilts and problems. It's hard to find a bad, or completely good, guy in it, and hard to feel hatred for the murderer.
I don't know whether I should recommend it or not! It isn't a "fun" book, and the topic is very dark and is often hard to read about, but it is pretty good.

I started SAVAGE by Richard Laymon last night, it's the last of his titles available thru my library.
I'm just finishing up The Lost Mother by Mary McGary Morris. It's quite good so far. I'm also reading Fast Food Nation which is very interesting. I haven't gotten to the disgusting meat packing plant parts, and I'm not sure I want to read those. I'm not sure what I'll read next. Ah, decisions...:)

Yes...finals are over, but I'm right back into the swing of things with three summer courses. No time off for me this summer...I don't think I have a free weekend until the middle of August, after my summer session finals! LOL
Oh well...the bright side is that I am now, officially, half way through this degree! (B. Commerce) YEAH!
By the way, I just finished Flowers for Algernon this evening. What a tear-jerker...loved it! Tomorrow, on to Biff...I think I need a good laugh after Algernon. I've never read Christopher Moore before, so this is going to be fun!
