I'm working on The Shining by Stephen King. I can't believe how different the book is from the original movie. I've always really enjoyed the movie but now I can see that it did the book no justice.

After The Shining I'm going to start Flowers For Algernon by Daniel Keyes.

Isn't Jeanne Ray wonderful?!? Her book "Eat Cake" was the monthly read on the Fiction Board last month & I just loved it. I read "STep-Ball-Change" & I have "Julie & Romeo" waiting for me at home...if I ever get through the batch of 7 & 14 day books that all came in at once at the library! I did finish the 7-day ones: "Alone" by Lisa Gardner & "The Motive" by John Lescroat (very good) but still have the 14-dayers "Entombed" by Linda Fairstein & "Twisted" by Jonathan Kellerman to get through. I really didn't do too much reading this weekend. Other than the Sunday paper & some "Sisters in Crime" short stories in paperback I took with me to read by the pool. But I have "Entombed" here with me at work to read at breaks/lunch.

Well, Teri...Julie and Romeo is a two-book series but I hope Jeanne adds on to it as time goes on.

Hey Kris ~~ it's okay. Love reading your comments.

What am I reading currently? Still reading The Innocent by Harlan Coben. It's really enjoyable, but I reread the play we're doing over and over....as assistant director and producer. Then there is a play reading that was suppose to happen and the City slipped up in their
