I have been wanting to read "Beneath a Marble Sky." I am going to have to order from amazon. If you are interested in this gendre of books, you should check out "The Twentieth Wife" and its sequel "The Feast of Roses." I read these last month and they are very good.

Hi Monica,
Thanks for those two book tips and links.
I'm reading The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. I just started it this morning and I'm already half way through.

Hi, Harriet!
I am reading a Robert Doherty book called 'Psychic Warrior'. There is another one after this one called 'Psychic Warrior: Project Aura'. I got them both from Amazon last year and hadn't read them yet. They were on that TBR pile that was missing and I finally found them. My books were found in my guest room in a bookcase that has a mix of books that I've read and some that I haven't read. I had searched that bookcase a couple of times and somehow missed the books. So I also have back the one I was wanting to start called, 'In Her Shoes'. I'm looking forward to that one. I've heard such good things about it.
Well ladies, I have you beat. I'm 52 and feel 25. I sure don't feel 25 physically, though. With my arthritic knees and hot flashes I definitely feel firmly planted in mid-life. However, I came of age in the late 60's and early 70's and I still identify with that era. Don't get me wrong, I'm not running around with ironed hair and daisies stitched on my jeans anymore, but I still have the same ideals I had then. I'm fairly liberal in many areas and I still long for peace in the world and healing within the races. I just never latched onto the right-wing thinking that so many my age have adopted, but I'm certainly not an extremist. I do feel young at heart, though. I have to laugh because my son is 30 and he keeps giving me DVD's of various seasons of 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer'

We'd love to hear your thoughts when you've finished.
Hi Valerie! I agree that the Tattered Cover is THE best bookstore around. I'm up in Boulder, so I only get there a couple of times a year. I always love a trip to it. What did you end up getting?

I recently finished The History of Love by Nicole Krauss. It was wonderful - touching, sad, poignant, sweet. It adored this book. Now I'm reading Sullivan's Island by Dorothea Benton Frank. I've never read anything by her before, and I'm really enjoying it.
