Do you read Cat Who books?

I just ordered the latest Cat Who Book ("Bananas") despite not-so-good reviews on Amazon. I love the books and just will have to grin and bear it. Then, I see there's a NEWER one ("Bomshell") coming in 2006 that I'll put on my wish list.

A website I found says the author is still alive and at 87 is still writing. I'm not sure I believe that, but I would like to.

Anyone else a fan? I think one or a combo of the books would make a great mystery movie.

Hi - yes there is an order, and I see someone posted a link to a place to find them. You can also find the list on the right side of the page if you search for Cat Who books on Amazon.

And thanks to the member who listed the interview on Lillian Jackson Braun! My husband is from Michigan and I've told him the city in the books is based somewhat on the Michican area. It really helps me to love the characters and town of these books, as we may well move to Michigan this or next year, and it would be in the upper area of the state.

These books are not just for cat lovers, they are really good books.

No pets of any type at the moment...I did have a dog (a beagle), but left her with my ex- when I moved.

I started the series at the end of last year. They were a quick and light read but not something that really excited me enough to keep on reading. I might go back and pick up where I left off but for now I'm engrossed in Earlene Folwer's Benni Harper mysteries

I used to enjoy those books, and they were one of the first "adult" mystery series I started my DS reading. But the last couple of books especially have just fizzled out at the end. The resolution is just kind of mentioned in passing. Just not satisfying. So I'm not sure if I will bother to continue.

I wouldn't say I'm a big fan, but I've read a few of them.
