Just curious if anyone has read this author. I've never heard of her until reading a blurb in Time about her latest book Devil's Corner.

She is described as a female John Grisham type (i.e. lawyer/crime fiction) and her heroine is a female...girl power!! so i think i might enjoy.

I'm surprised I haven't come across her since I enjoy this type of book but then again I've been away from regular reading lately....trying to get back into it more. I would read all day if I was independently wealthy!!

Hi Michelle,

Lisa Scottoline's books feature the all-female law firm (criminal law?).

A friend of mine gave me the first in her series for xmas. It's called Legal Tender and her main character is a female lawyer named Bennie (Benedetta) Rosato. I really enjoyed it and will continue on in the series. I think you'll like it. Gae

I've read several of her books that are set in the all-female law firm, Rosato and Associates. I've enjoyed them - the characters are all different sorts of women and are interesting in their own right. The books tend to be about a different employee each time. She has come out with a stand alond book, which may be the Devil's Corner that you mentioned. It is not about Rosato and Associates. I'm looking forward to reading it.
