Is your current read so excellent you'd like to set off fireworks, or so lame you'd like to throw it onto the BBQ coals?

I just started ""One Tuesday Morning" by Karen Kingsbury. So far it's really good.

Well I'm reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, so of course it's fabulous!! I haven't read this weekend though. I'm trying to time it just right that I finish the book on July 15th. That night I'll be at Barnes & Noble with my friend and a friend of hers waiting for midnight so we can get our HP Book 6!! The series is so good, I've really enjoyed re-reading them again. Can't wait!! Gae

I'm currently reading Stephanie Gertler's "The Windmill" and I told Dear Hubby tonite that it's one of those books I'm going to hate see coming to an end.

Thanx!

6th or 7th time reading them?! WOW! I very rarely read books twice, but I think this series will compel me to read it more than once.

Hi Teri,

Well, my siggy isn't really from the books.. It is just that it is my family's clan tartan and clan motto..which is Scottish..so it sort of fits with the books.

I'm reading Kansas Troubles by Earlene Fowler the new mystery series I've discovered. Not quite fireworks- smore like a bright sparkler:) On the horizon I have Laurell Hamilton, Evanovich and of course Harry Potter. I like that idea of hiding in the bathroom and reading the day away.

Well, interesting timeing for that question. I picked up a book from the new releases when I was at the library on Friday, called "Miss Gazillions" - don't remember the author. It sounded like it should be a fun read, but it just never got there. Don't know if I jsut wasn't in the mood or not. Anyway, I was about a 3rd of the way through it yesterday & realized I really didn't want to continue with it. So now I'm reading "Hard Truth" by Nevada Barr. Really good so far. But then, hers usually are.

I just finished two books...

The Centre of Everything by Laura Moriarty...It was okay, but I found it a little depressing. It's been called a modern "To Kill a Mockingbird", but I think so. It's a fast read.

The Tall Pine Polka by Lorna Landvik...Good and it had some pretty funny moments, but I liked Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons sooooooo much better! ;)

Now, I've just started Empire Falls by Richard Russo...LOVE IT!!!!!! I was inspired to read this one by the HBO movie. Did anyone else watch it? Paul Newman and Ed Harris were amazing in it!
