I'm reading FUNLAND by Richard Laymon, awesome book so far!
i'm about 2/3 thru Jemima by Jane Green - i should have it done tom or Friday - a good 'chick lit' summer read for anyone who has ever had self-esteems issues & thought fixing themselves up on the outside would take care of it all

I'm doing a bit of light reading after State of Fear

<i'm enjoying some light summer reads and having FUN reading again!!! (i tried to get thru Oprah's picks of Faulkner but I think they are more winter,sit-by-fire and contemplate type books)
I just finished Islands by Ann Rivers Siddons. I love her writing and have read most if not all of her books, but am hard pressed to find one I enjoyed more than the first one I ever read, Colony.
I'm reading The Summer I Dared by Barbara Delinsky.
Right now I am reading "Plain Truth" by Jodi Picoult. It's pretty good so far. She's becoming one of my favorite authors....I've also read Vanishing Acts and My Sister's Keeper. Next I will be reading "Perfect Match" by her also. I bought a bunch of her books from the B.Dalton at our local mall for 50% off as they were closing.

hey mary,
thanks for the scoop, i didn't know her new one was coming out soon- i'll keep my eye out.
and i agree, labbies are the best.
after raising and letting go 2 that went on to do wonderful things as guides, I am happy that Chloe has been designated a breeding female for the guide dog program, so not only will I get to experience raising little pups for 8 weeks, but after 2-3 litters they release Chloe to me Forever!
so i won't have to say goodbye to her.
Hi Michelle!
Glad you wrote back!
