Hello,
I would like to know, what book has effected your life and effected you so deeply and changed the way you thought and talked about things, what is the book that was a worthwhile read to you?

Thanks for a great question. Love your name and glad you stopped by to chat with us. Please come as often and stay as long as you'ld like.
Now, what book was a worth while read you ask? "The Five People You Meet in Heavan" by Mitch Albom. I think it's very important that we all realize we are not isolated creatures- we are stones thrown into a pond and our ripple effect can be felt on the other side. You never know in your day to day life who you will touch and how that will change everything. Think about all the people who have touched your life- and some who probably don't even realize what an impact they had and are still having.
Good question!
The books that come to mind are:
The Legend of Bagger Vance by Steven Pressfield. This is hard to explain why this book meant a lot to me. You would really have to read it. However, it made me look at the world differently. When you are trying to accomplish something you have to look for the things not seen. You have to connect with things on a different level.
Beloved by Toni Morrison. This really confirmed my belief that as women we should not let race, religion, or other past discriminations separate us. We have more in common than we ever realize. Just because we have different experiences doesn't mean we can not relate to one another and come together in support of one another.

I've got two that come immediately to mind - one (more of a personal thing) was The Street Lawyer, by John Grisham.

Three Books Changed My Life and Outlook permanently:
1.
About 10 years ago I saw Marianne Williamson on the Oprah show and was so intrigued that I went out and bought her book "A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of "A Course in Miracles" - back then I was deeply moved by it and although I'm not a religeous person or even a believer, I was affected enough that it made me think differently and this made me a kinder and gentler person. Its been awhile now and its wearing off so I should probably pick it up again to work that mini miracle on myself ;)
Aside from that I've read some books that have totally turned me on to specific genres - ie: after reading Stephen King's "The Stand" and Robert McCammon's "Swan Song" I could not get enough of these types of end of the world horror stories, and after seeing the movie "Gone With The Wind" and reading the book I had to get my hands on every book on the Civil War, and most recently after reading "The Other Boleyn Girl" I have been caught up in that historical period.
Hello,
Some of my favourite authors are Lurlene McDaniel and Nicholas Sparks, I also like the book called Wicked by Gregory Maguire and are currently reading the Da Vinci's Code by Dan Brown, I usually like all generes and have no preferences to any particular authors.
