I have a lot of books in this category actaully. I have several books on the tarot and one is a meditation one that came with a CD to get you started. The Twelve Wild Swans by Starhawk is a wonderful book for a meditation journey that I am still embarked on. I am also studying Wicca so I have lots of books with that theme. There are so many wonderful books out with sspirituality themes- I hope everyone has a favorite:)

I am not a religious person but, I find books about religion very interesting, mostly from a historical and sociological standpoint. I tried to read _The history of God_but it was just too hard to get thru. For instance I like books about the historical Jesus. A few years ago I read _Girl meets God_ which is by a woman who converts from nominal Christianity to orthodox Judaism and then back to Christianity. It was very interesting.

I'm currently reading Awakening to the Sacred by Lama Surya Das and have a couple more books lined up to read along this books same theme. Sorry can't think of the titles, they are at home. Hold on maybe if I check my Amazon order....

oops was Barnes and Noble anyway...

Satrt Where You are by Pema Chodron & Peace is Every Step by Thich Nhat Hanh

These were all recommended from bookcrossing in regards to "sprituality" type suggestions.

Also, I have read in the past Marianne Williamson but she just doesn't always do it for me.

I consider these maintance type reading not pleasure. I try to read a bit from the current book I'm reading at least once a day.

"A Path and a Practice: Using Lao-tzu's "Tao Te Ching" as a Guide to an Awakened Spiritual Life" by Wm. Martin (author of "The Parent's Tao Te Ching") was on the New Release Shelf at the library and I am basking in this new translation of the "Tao", which I've not read before.

Part I is "a non-linear construction of the 81 chapters and themes; Part II of the book "provides practical guidance for the exploration of the Tao's themes in depth."

I've read it straight thru.

The closest I come these days is reading Faye Kellerman's books

I'd like to add, however, that I DID keep my History of the World's Religions text book
