Do you ever go searching for info about your favorite authors? we explore book titles that capture our attentions but do you ever wonder about the person behind the pages your reading?
How about sharing some info or even some sites for some of your favorite authors

I added my favorite authors on my homepage.
Yep, if I particularly like an author I like to know what they look like. The two authors web sites I visit most are:
Christopher Moore
http://www.chrismoore.com/
Gayle Brandies
http://www.gaylebrandeis.com/
Gretchen
I never thought about it until I went searching to see if Phillipa Gregory was writing anything new. She has a message board attached to her website that she answers from time to time.

www.evanovich.com (Janet Evanovich, Stephanie Plum's creator)

Richard Laymon

I enjoy browsing through the writers' websites. Interesting to read the various opinions about their books if a discussion forum is a part of it. Some of my favorite author websites are
www.jamesleeburke.com
www.aceatkins.com
www.earlenefowler.com
www.suegrafton.com
www.robertcrais.com (he no longer has a forum, though)
www.michaelconnelly.com
www.tssimmons.com
Just a few...Donna
I've researched Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, L.M. Montgomery, Frances Hodgson Burnett and Harper Lee recently...there's a wealth of sites and links, too many to post!

<Oops, made a mistake on the last author website I listed. Her name is T. M. Simmons but her website is www.iseeghosts.com Uh, yeah, her first new mystery titled 'Dead Man Talking' involves a murder along with ghosts. The main character, Alice Carpenter, is a writer, ghosthunter and amateur sleuth and it takes place in East Texas. Ms. Simmons is from that area so she definitely knows her locales. And she herself is a self-proclaimed ghosthunter. On her website you can click on to read various stories of places she has visited along with photos taken that appear to have ghostly orbs. I believe there is another realm we don't see once life leaves out bodies and that there are spirits who haunt places for whatever reason. But have never actually seen what Ms. Simmons has.
Whatever you believe, it is curious and when looking at the pictures gotta admit to feeling the hair raise on my arms. I mean, who hasn't at least felt the presence of a loved one or been somewhere that made you feel NOT ALONE? In my mother's main culture - Hispanic - many stories have passed down through the years that always had me wondering.

Oooh, Donna, thanks!
