That it IS possible to send a private message to another member, but, alas, only after you've completed some type of transaction with that person.

8/8/05 Anyone have any www.paperbackswap.com happenings, questions, or what have you?
I do!
My only problem is getting *off* that site!
Yeah, mine too

<"I've got three credits there now that I'm trying to figure out how to use..."
A happy quandry!
Yes, they're burning a proverbial hole in my pocket - at least a little!

<Oh my gosh I've been going nuts. I've got like 15 books coming from PBS. It makes BC seem like so much work. I even got my daughter hooked and she is anxiously awaiting her 2 books to get to their destination so she can choose 2 for herself. She also, started a BC account as well. At least it gives her something more constructive to do than play the Sims.
I'm trying to stay organized and only doing paperback for PBS even though they are registered for BC as well. I got a notebook and divided it into sections. PBS (Listed and Requested), BC (Trades & rings/rays), Loans, and Wishlist. Not sure I can keep up though. I already had someone request a book that I had already sent out to someone else at BC because I forgot to change the status.
I do have a special bookshelf at the house for BC/PBS books so I can hopefully find them when needed. I had to tell my daughter it is important to make sure the books get back there to that shelf so if someone requests we can find it. I have not always been good about that and frantically looking for a book I agreed to send someone before I realized I misplaced it. *sigh*
Has anyone else bought credits? I did, I couldn't help myself. Seemed so cheap but I really don't
