Well I've bought a bunch more Terry Pratchett Discworld book to add to my collection -- although I realized yesterday that I accidentally bought two of the same book...
I try not to buy too many books, I usually check out books from the library, unless I'm trying to complete a collection of books. But, we were at Sam's Club on Friday night and I saw The Historian for $14.94 so I decided to go ahead and pick it up. It was a crazy whim, but I've heard good things about the book so will enjoy reading it when I get to it!! Gae
I was excitedly looking forward to the paperback release of Sarah-Kate Lynch's "By Bread Alone" on 9/5, but checking amazon yesterday, the correct release date is 10/19.
Yep, I'm in the same boat as you. LOL! I did get lucky though and only paid around $100 for my three books. Gotta love the internet! What are you taking (if you don't mind me asking)?

Well, because of my self-imposed moratorium on book buying this summer, I haven't bought ANY myself!

my good friend Jill surprised me the other day with a sussy (a gift to someone for no particular reason at all),
What does "sussy" stand for ;-)
I bought a couple of books to send to my BC Birthday Buddy, but those were the only new ones I bought recently.
