hi everyone;
i'm so glad i found this place. i absolutely love to read and often you'll find me to be the obnoxious person in front of you at a red light with her nose in a book:))))
i'm the mother of two little boys, 3 and 5, who keep me quite busy and work part time as a nurse. i've read quite a bit of different authors and usually read all they have once i like a book they've written. my recent reads have been; "little children", "time travelers wife" "my sister's keeper" "five people you meet in heaven" "suzanne's diary to nicholas" i now have vanishing acts that i will begin tonight and am on the waiting list for "kite runner" and "the other boelyn", "davincci's code", any suggestions, i ready pretty quick, good in a way but depressing when the book is done. Some of the other authors/tiles i've enjoyed in the past;
david badlucci
james patterson
jeffrey archer
susan graham
janet evanovich
janet reich
jennifer weiner
ellen peck
amistead maupin
kathy green
robin cook
sophia kinsella
i use to read koontz, king, pilcher, steele, higgins clark, but kind of left them behind when i hit my 30's......
thanks
karen

Welcome, Karen !
Thanks for the nice introduction.
HI Karen and welcome!
So glad you found our board and if you're looking for suggestions you have definitely come to the right place:) Sounds like many of our readers you have varied tastes and like the challenge of a new author or book. I would reccomend anything by Elizabeth Berg- she is an author I discovered here at ABC. We have read several of Jodi Piccoult's books and are currently discussing Sue Monk Kidd's Mermaid Chair. Sarah-Kate Lynch is another discovered author here. If you haven't read "Angel's and Demon's" by Dan Brown I would start with that one while you are waiting for Davinci
Stop by often and let us know what you're reading
thanks for the suggestions, i did read angels and demons and loved it. i will try the other two authors, as well. usually i run into the library with my two boys and the librarian just picks out a bunch of books and off i go.
