I just read that one of the cable movie channels is doing a series or maybe a film called "Dexter" and it sounds like it's based on DDD. Now that sounds interesting.
I absolutely loved Darkly Dreaming Dexter. I know that Lindsay's second novel is out, but my library hasn't gotten it yet. I really admired how Lindsay could make Dexter such a sympathetic character.
The information about the show popped up in an article about the series finale of Six Feet Under. There was a discussion of what the actors would be doing now, and I think the one who played David is slated to be Dexter. I've only seen the first season of Six Feet Under on DVD, but I can really see this guy as Dexter.
Thanks for posting this. I always like to know these kinds of things about authors. It's going to be interesting to see how long he can keep this series going.
August has been a slow month.....ONE lonely good book (The Undomestic Goddess), one ok book, one book I couldn't finish, and one I finished but didn't enjoy.

The two that I most enjoyed were Life Expectancy (Koontz) and Dead Silent (Ferrigno), but The Poisonwood Bible was certainly noteworthy, IMO

My favorite book that I read this month was Wicked by Gregory Maguire. What a brilliant story.
