Hi all *wave*

I popped in here to find out how to open the bottle for the Swiffer Wet Jet so I could refill it myself - no luck, as I saw someone had the same question back in September.

Well, I took pliers to the lid and yanked hard - once you get the lid unscrewed once, it comes off and on easily. I just came back to share that with you.

It was made so that it 'couldn't' be refilled, well, fooey on them! Off to fill it with my favourite cleaner now. Only one con to this - the lid can't be considered child-proof now, however I use a non-toxic cleaner, so I don't have to worry as much if the kids did get into it. I'd like to say my kids are old enough to know better now, but I guess you never know.

I lurk here once in a while - this is a great board. WTG CL's!

That is great news, DH and I were thinking about

trying the Swiffer Wet Jet, but decided not to

when we saw the refill was designed so it can't

be fefilled. Yay! Thanks for delurking with that

great piece of news.

BTW, welcome to the board Sunny.

I've read with interest about the Swiffer Wetjet bottle. I didn't realize this. I didn't get one of those but went with the Ready Mop. That bottle is easy to refill. The cap just unscrews. Food for thought!

Thanks Anna, I really haven't looked at the

other types of mops, I'll have to check that

one out.
