I'm still reading The Historian. I've mostly been reading at work, but I've been home the past few days and did some reading tonight. I'm going to my godmother's this weekend so I plan to take it with me and do some reading. Gae

I'm finishing up "American Gods" so we can start talking about it next week. I'm going to the library today to pick up the next two books in the Benni Harper series and I've got another one that the title escapes me at this moment that I'm reading for light pleasure.

I am currently reading "Before You Know Kindness" by Chris Bohjalian. It's about an animal rights activist who's daughter fools with her uncle's gun and accidently shoots her father. It's pretty interesting! I read another of his books when I was doing Oprah Book Club "Midwives". I loved that book!

hi everyone';

i just finished "house of sand and fog" which was really a can't put down book for me. I really enjoyed. I read 200 pages of American Gods and it just wasn't my type of book, i've also read Time Traveller's Wife, Vanishing Acts, Little Children, The Monk downstairs, A girl becomes a comma like that and The good wife. These were good books not oh my god i can't but it down...

i reading the Davinni Code now and am waiting on Kite Runner, The Other Boelyn Girl and Mermaid Chair. Keep the recommendations coming, I love finding new reads and learning which reading styles i prefer.

I just finished Undomestic Goddess by Sophie Kinsella...cute chick-lit! lol

Right now, I'm still plugging through Sarum by Edward Rutherfurd and about half way through Women of the Silk by Gail Tsukiyama...one of my many holds from the library that just came in!...I'll never get through them all!

I'm reading The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I have about 30 pages to go. I've heard excellent things about the book but honestly I don't see what all the hype is about. I've really had to struggle to get thru it.
