TIme for library confessions- do you ever have overdue books? Do you ever check out more than you can possibly read and then get perplexed trying to decide which one to read first? Come on you can tell us your library confessions- we probably have some of our own to share:)

I always have overdue books, and I'm a librarian! That's what's most embarassing. I was once told by another librarian, that that is pretty common, becuase the biggest readers always have the most books out.

My public library does not charge overdue fees so there is no incentive to return on time. At work, I run the place , so who's gonna tell me to bring back the books. ;0)
Actually if a student wants a book I have, I try to return it as soon as possible so he/she can read it.

I currently owe the library about $1.60. But they let us keep checking out until we owe $10.00. I'm not avoiding paying the tab it's just easier to use the self-check out. I have a book due tomorrow and am going to have to stay up late finishing it. Darn. Thankfully it is a Robert Crais book and they move pretty swiftly. But what I need to confess is that when sometimes when I go on-line to renew, they say I can't because there is a hold, I keep it anyways until I finish. I read as fast as I can but I do feel guilty. Sorry to all these I've held up. ~Joey
