October is National Book Month. We celebrate books here every day but what are some thing you can do to celebrate book month? How about tell a freind or co-worker about a great book they would just love? Spend some time at your local library or a school.

Here's a fun quiz to test your book lovers knowledge: http://www.nationalbook.org/nbmnbatrivia.html

I'm a book-a-holic and I love me!

Well, I knew like 2 of those answers. Oh well. I read a lot, but I don't pay attention to awards - LOL.

I pass on titles of books that are absolutely 'feel good' or ones that are thought-provoking. An example of the former is Kate Dicamino's "Because of Winn Dixie" and an example of the latter is Mitch Album's "The Five People You Meet In Heaven".

Another way I celebrate will be by attending Fort Worth's Library Fest this coming Sunday. There will be music, art, entertainment, guest speakers, etc. From noon to 7pm it's a time where people from around the city come together to celebrate the wonderful pastime of reading...and more.
