I'm reading Undead and Unwed by MaryJanice Davidson. I actually think you recommended it, Teri (I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first - or last - time). It's a fun read which is what I need now. I just finished Lamb by Christopher Moore and I will be reading more of his stuff. That book was an absolute RIOT! My husband has it now and that's next on his list of reading. He may get more of a kick out of it as he was raised Catholic and understands more of the New Testament than I do.

I will probably be finished with Undead in a couple of days and then I'm hoping to start on Practical Demonkeeping by Moore. I am still looking for "The Stupidest Angel" but I have been to 3 bookstores and can't find it! I'm off to Amazon. I bet they have it.

I'm reading C.J. Box's "Trophy Hunt". His Joe Picket series are real page turners! And also reading Sheryl J. Anderson's "Killer Cocktail".

Monday, I read "St. Dale" by Sharon McCrumb. It's not one of her mysteries - it's about a group of people on a memorial bus tour for Dale Earnhardt. It was actually pretty good. Finished "A Stitch in Time" a Needlecraft mystery by Monica Ferris this morning. Just started "Corona Blue" an Angela Biwaban mystery by J.F. Trainor. Thought I was requesting the first in the series, but it turns out it's the fourth. Maybe the library doesn't have the earlier ones.

"Neurotica" by Sue Margolis is my current book, hilarious & sexy, as usual for this author, who sets her books in England.

Hi Sarenna ~

Mary Janice Davidson's chick-lit vampire Betsy Taylor ("Undead and Unwed" is #1) is popular with several of us here ... lotsa fun & laughs!

Not much time to read these days! Work and school are very hectic...can't wait until Christmas break! lol

I've got two books on the go right now...The Falls by Joyce Carol Oates, and In Her Shoes by Jennifer Weiner. I'm about 2/3 through The Falls, but I started it two weeks ago! And, I'm only on chapter 3 for In Her Shoes...started it last Thursday.

Oh well...at least I'm enjoying both of them!

Here's a link to amazon for The Falls...
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0060722282/qid=1128568892/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/002-8094592-2084024?v=glance&s=books

The Falls is about a young woman, Ariah, whose husband throws himself over Niagra Falls on their honeymoon. Ariah later marries Dirk, a wealthy lawyer in Niagra Falls NY, with whom she has three children. Years later, Dirk takes on a case that becomes the first class action suit for Love Canal, a case that tears their family apart.

It's a very good book! :)

I finished Undead and Unwed tonight. It was a really good light read which I needed after the heaviness of The Kite Runner. I'm going to send an email to you with my address to add to the list on the book ring. I've also decided to give David Sedaris another shot. A couple of his books were recommended to me on the another board and I'm not one to immediately give up on an author. I also really liked one of his stories (about being the elf at Macy's) so that prompted me to give it another shot.

My list is growing fast here. I love all the recommendations. I find I'm reading things that I would have passed on before and I really would have been missing out. You ladies are a great source of info when it comes to books. I'm so glad I found this board!
