I'm reading "Girl Sleuth: Nancy Drew and the Women Who Created Her" by Melanie Rehak, "Killer Cocktail" by Sheryl J. Anderson, and re-readng two favorites: "Heartwood" by James Lee Burke and "Fast Women" by Jennifer Crusie.
If Sleepwalk isn't grabbing you try Black Creek Crossing by the same author.Just finished it and I really liked it.Kind of reminds me of Carrie.
Is that the exact name of the book Shesha? I looked at my library's website but couldn't find anything by that name. Maybe I'll check out BookCrossing. Have you read Sleepwalk? Does it finally get interesting? I read another 30 some pages last night and still nothing.
I'm reading Ordinary People by Judith Guest. I have about 80 pages left and really like it. After this, I'll need to move on to something lighter. I think I might read Murder on a Bad Hair Day by Anne George or one of Ayelet Waldman's Mommy Track mysteries.
I'm actually working on three at the moment. I'm slowly reading Mountains Beyond Mountains, a NF by Tracy Kidder about Dr. Paul Farmer, an infectious disease expert who works tirelessly in places such as Haiti, Peru and Russia to improve their healthcare systems and control infectious diseases such as TB and HIV. Very fascinating. I highly recommend this very readable NF about an incredible man. I finished Ordinary People a couple of days ago. That was very powerful. I am planning to read A Million Little Pieces soon, so I reading something lighter right now - Murder on a Bad Hair Day by Anne George. It is the second in the Southern Sisters series and it is such a fun read. I am also listening to Brick Lane by Monica Ali. That is also really good:)
