Which Section Would You Choose?

Your dream job has arrived. You enter the bookstore and as you look around your supervisor says: "Which section would you like?" You are being assigned a book department for your very own. It means you get to arrange the books and set up displays. You can order your favorite author. Two hours of every day to spend immersed in your favorite subject. So, which would you choose? Does History catch your eye? Perhaps Cooking or Psychology is where you want to be. Then there is all of those fiction sections from Mystery, Romance, Horror, and even the General Fiction.

So where do you want to be?

I don't read books in a genre, unless you count women's fiction, which they generally don't seperate out. I do love to cook though, and am a foodtv junkie, so maybe cookbooks, although that might get boring. Maybe I would choose general fiction. I like to do book displays. I enjoy creative activities. In our HS library, I work with another librarian and she hates that stuff so it falls to me. I don't mind. Just yesterday I made a display of all our HP books to piggyback on the movie opening. This morning I'm working on posters of our new books which we hang in the windows so the kids can see them as they walk down the hall. In fact, I should be doing that now! Back to work! ;)

I'd pick the General Fiction section, there's just so many possibities because it's a larger section than "my genre", LoL.. horror.

Well, I would say put me in the SF/Fantasy section but then I'd never get any work done cause I'd be too busy checking out all the books, and then they'd fire me from my dream job. So perhaps I'd be better off asking to be put in the nonfiction section! Especially boring nonfiction, like computer manuals or something like that, LOL.
