I'm reading The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove (A bookring of Teri's) and loving it. Think it is my favorite that I have read of Christopher Moore's work so far. I do still have to read Lamb (as well as a couple others) and have heard great things about it.
The Opposite of Fate by Amy Tan - I are really enjoying it. This book is sort of a memoir in short story form. Tan tells about her childhood, trips to China, her family, the making the the Joy Luck Club, inspiration for her books and characters, etc. It is really quite interesting.
I started a Dean Koontz book called, 'One Door Away From Heaven'. I'm about a 4th of the way through and am finding it extremely boring! Weird for a Dean Koontz! Normally, I love his stuff. I'll give it the benefit of the doubt and keep going. However, he has spent the last 4-5 chapters with a single conversation between three people and 4-5 other chapters (alternating) on a ten year old boy hitching rides to escape some bad guys. I'm beginning to wonder if the whole book will take place like this!
I'm still plugging away at The Autobiography of Santa Claus. It's interesting but there are some boring parts too. I've been trying to get thru it for weeks now. Doesn't help that I had to put it aside to read Seven Up by Janet Evanovich.
I am reading Rachel's Holiday by Marian Keyes. So far I like it better than Watermelon. Then I have 6 Kinsella books waiting for me at the library. I better go read faster. Maybe Christmas will wait. LOL Melissa

At anyrate, that is the only book
