I'm reading "In Like FLynn" by Rhys Bowen. The last one of the Molly Murphy series that I have become very fond of. Now, I'm going to have to wait. But I have Red Lily coming soon and then I can finally get to the Nora Robert's trilogy I've been waitng to read.
I've actually finished this and on to something else, but wanted to give my thumbs up for "What Remains" by Carole Radziwill. (I stayed up til the wee hours finishing the book the night before Thanksgiving, even tho I was hosting the dinner!!) Her husband was Anthony Radziwill, son of Jackie O's sister and cousin to JFK Jr. He battled cancer for 5 years before and during their marriage. They were best friends with JFK and his wife Carolyn. Their plane crashed just 3 weeks before Anthony succombed to cancer. Really emotional book, especially for those of us lucky enough to not witness a loved one battle a terminal illness. I've never read any books about JFK Jr or his wife, but I know she in particular has been vilified in the press since her death and this book paints a much different portrait of her. Anyway, good book and I really liked her writing style as well. The blurb on the back said she is currently writing a novel.
I didn't think they would all come in at the same time. My library didn't have anything by her and I have never read her before. But she was recommended and I was bored and in denial about Christmas, so I requested them. I can always renew them until January and February while I am busy hibernating. So far this is the only really good thing I have learned about being a SAHM. LOL Melissa
Right now I am reading Memoirs of a Geisha. I didn't think I would be interested in reading it. My coworker gave it to me, so after I finished my last book I started to read it. It caught me right away and I am enjoying it very much. Gae
Thanks Teri! I will check out the site link. Ya know, for some reason, I just can't get into vampire books. I did like the 'Buffy' series and also 'Angel' and I saw 'Interview With A Vampire' and liked it. People have suggested I read Ann Rice stuff and I've resisted. Maybe I'll try just one!
I read Piers Anthony's series 'Incarnations of Immortality' and 'Mode' series. I may try the Xanth books. I just loved the Harry Potter books and the 'Inheritance' books. Anyway, thanks all.
