Just picked up S Is For Silence by Grafton, Predator by Cornwell, and Life Expectancy by Koontz the other day at Target (I couldn't resist the call of the book aisle any longer, LOL.)
Made a library run tonight, and to dig into this week, I have a gamut of things to read:
Lisa Scottoline's Devil's Corner, Nicholas Sparks' True Believer, Robert HIcks' Widow Of The South, Janette Oke's Love Comes Softly (I saw the DVD and was curious as to what the book was actually like), Marek Halter's Zipporah: Wife Of Moses, the third in Orson Scott Card's Women Of Genesis series: Rachel And Leah, Marion Zimmer Bradley's Ancestors Of Avalon, and (all by David Gemmell) White Wolf, Storm Rider, and The Swords Of Night And Day.
I was looking for Atwood's Penelopiad, and Memoirs Of A Geisha, but they were out so I put in a hold request on those.
For those of you who like Pride and Prejudice, Isabel Aston has written a couple of books about the children of Elizabeth and Mr Darcy that have been pretty well acclaimed by fans and critics. The first one is Mr Darcy's Daughters, and I can't remember the second one right now. I put a hold on it at the library too though, LOL.

Since you loved Harry Potter, how about Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell by Susanna Clarke?
