That is toooo cool. I went to the library today.....quick trip between other furtive quick trips.......lol.......I looked at the large print selection & found "Light on Snow" which I picked because of the young girl who I dearly loved & I think DM will feel the same. I also got her the "Bridges of Madison County." My mom is Italian & I thought she might like it. It's not great literature, but it's different. If she doesn't like it, she knows I'll get her another using all your suggestions. dee

Oh! Since your mom is Italian she might like Adriana Trigiani. Big Stone Gap has been my favorite of hers which is the start of a series. She has many others as well which kind of end up sounding vaugley similar but I do recommend giving her a try. Very sweet books.

Gretchen ~

Insomnia obviously you liked it but how does it compare to the movie. I think I might like to read it but the movie didn't do anything to encourage me

Amazon lists very mixed reviews for this book.

The three that stick out in my mind were Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The Historian, and Memoirs of a Geisha. All were very enjoyable in their own way. Gae
