Holiday preparations are really cutting into my reading time, heck they've killed it.

I'm definatly not reading as much lately. I try to read in the car on the way to work (dh drives not me!). I'm still reading The Audobiography of Santa Claus! I've been reading it forever! I also started I Never Promised You a Rose Garden. That one's slow going for me as well.

I'm working on Whispers by Dean Koontz. I'm not getting in as much reading time as I would like but still hope to finish this one up by the end of the year.

The book started out a little slow but is picking up now and look forward to getting back at it so I can figure out what is going on. Already killed off one bad guy so he must not be the actual bad guy??? lol

I've been trying to read The Christmas Box by Richard Paul Evans for weeks now but between all the Christmas prep and the kids being sick I haven't even gotten thru the first chapter.

I'm wondering if I can find it on cd so I can listen to it while baking this week. Hmmmm...

I haven't even hit a book store or library in two months. Between Thanksgiving and Xmas I have no time to read, and I miss it terribly! I finally snagged a few mins. to come check out the board and get some ideas for books to get after the festivities calm down. I can not wait to get back to reading.

That sounds like a wonderful idea! I might try to stop at the Library and see if I can find some good Christmas stories on CD. Think that would be a fun new tradition to start. Listening to them while making all the Christmas preperations.
