Which book will keep you company this Christmas weekend?

Hi all! I just finished reading the third book of the 'Chronicles of Narnia'. It's called, 'A Horse and His Boy'. I had bought the first 3 in hardbound books from Costco when they first got them. However, there are 4 more and Costco is now sold out of the hardback editions. *sigh*

I have no idea what I will start next. Probably the Nora Roberts book, 'Blue Smoke' that I got my sister for Christmas. She'll be finished in a couple of days and ready to pass it to me.

I have ALL Dean Koontz's books.. all of Stephen King's as well for that matter. I'm just starting to realy build my Koontz collection. My King collection is fantastic - lots of signed copies, first editions, etc. I love it! People think I'm nuts. I have his entire collection in "readable quality" AND the entire collection in "collectible quality", hehe. I say entire.. but I don't have any of the rares. Too pricey for me! I have the distinct benefit of living 20 minutes from him though, and that brightens my day when I go for pizza and he's sitting next to me eating a sub :)

Aww thanks. Actually I live in NH, but on the ME border. I think my all time favorite King book is The Stand. I have 8 copies of it, lol. I bought a few of my books pre-signed, two of them I went to book signings to get, and two of them were signed when I saw him around town and he caught me with one of his books in hand! I used to work at the local movie theater - so when he would come in to see a movie with Tabitha, alot of times I would be sitting at the counter reading one of his books.

That is so cool! I'm not a huge King fan but some of my most favorite reads are King books. The Green Mile, Shawshank Redimption (or whatever he actually called it), Hearts of Atlantis. I'm sure if I lived near him or any author I'd probably be a bigger fan.
