Flying Lessons by Patricia Gaffney- fiction, an estranged niece goes back to her hometown after a personal tragedy and reacquaints herself with extended family, new friends, potential love in a strange place, and realizes her perception of what drove her away in the first place may have been incorrect.

I'm also reading Citizen Girl, by the authors of the Nanny Diaries- not sure how I feel about it yet....

The Rottweiler, a Ruth Rendell thriller, was my last read of 2005.

I am reading The Little House by Philippa Gregory and also A Wild Ride Up the Cupboards by Ann Bauer.Which is something i haven't done in years.I usually read just one book at a time but i wanted to get the Philippa Gregory book done this month and was already reading Cupboards.
A wild ride up the cupboards--Edward is nearly four years old when begins his slow, painful withdrawl from the world. For those who love him-his father,Jack and mother Rachel, pregnant with their third child-the transformation of their happy, intelligent firstborn into a sleepless, feral stranger is a devestating blow, one that brings enormous ramifications not just for Edward and his parents, but also for their younger son.Matt, ans soon-to be daughter.

Michelle, I love the picture of your lab. I have a black lab that I dearly love. He has been my best bud for the last 10 years and I sure hate to think of getting along without him. My son has a golden lab/golden retriever mix and he is sure one heck of an awesome dog! What a love! I want to scoop him up and take him home. My son adores him, too. I think I will try to find one just like him.

i agree!

chloe's best friend next door is a golden retriever, it's fun to watch them play out back

she's a good dog, she's just as happy romping in the park as she is to hang out at home, i think she's looking forward to me going back to work today so she can 'get her rest'- i've been off for 4 days!

On New Years Eve I finally finished up The Christmas Box by Richard Paul Evans. What a wonderful way to end the year. Right after that I picked up VC Andrews Petals On The Wind. It is the follow up book to Flowers In The Attic. It is so good.
