A 2006 Resolution

Okay we browse the bookstores, we descend on our local libraries at least once a month and we probably all belong to some sort of book club or exchange. How many of us have at least one book shelf or more with books at home that we HAVEN'T read? you know what I'm talking about... the I'll get to them after this next book or I own it so I don't have to rush right into it like I do a borrowed book.

I am making a resolution to read at least one book a month off of my "I'll get to it later" shelf. Some of those books have been there for at least a year or more.

Who's with me?

I am a moody type person (crabby cancer) so even though I have stacks of books waiting to be read, I sometimes am just not in the mood for any of them so I have to go out and get a new one that suits my mood ... like last night I finished State of Fear and right now nothing in my TBR stack does it for me so I will probably stop at the book store or Library on my way home

Hi Teri
I enjoyed State of Fear and it made me look at the other side of the global warming issue. I have a friend who is an environmental activist who told me its all baloney only because he doesnt like to listen to the arguments against his causes - hopefully he's not as extreme as the eco-terrorists in this book !
It was too late to pick up a book last night so I ended up watching the Golden Globes. I will take another look at my TBR pile and see if something strikes me right tonight.
