I'm reading the Honk and Holler Opening Soon by Billie Letts. I read one of her other books, Where the Heart Is and really liked it, so I figured I'd give this one a try (it was recommended here). I'm enjoying it so far. It's going really fast, so I'm figuring I should have no problem wrapping it up by the end of the week. I'm in awe of all you ladies that can finish more than one book in a week.

I am almost finished with Running with Scissors and i like it alot.It makes me laugh even in uncomfortable situations in the book.Man what a life just when i think my family is dysfunctional. There are some very disturbing things in the novel but is written in a way i don't want to chuck it across the room.I just hope it doesn't come out that it's all lies.I will definetly be getting Magical Thinking soon.I think after i'm done I will try and get an Irish Author out of the way.

Hi! I haven't posted on here in ages. Life has been pretty crazy lately. I recently finished The Dress Lodger by Sheri Holman. It was okay. I liked it, but didn't love it. It involved a doctor in the 1800's in England and a prostitute during the cholera epidemic. It was a bit on the morbid side. For other "prostitute" historical fiction I would recommend The Crimson Petal and the White and Slammerkin over this one. Now I'm reading Prep by Curtis Sittenfeld (sp?). It's about a girl, Lee, during her four years at an East Coast prep school. I'm a little over 1/2 way through and LOVE it. I'm reading it for my RLBC on Wed. and can't get over how quickly I'm moving through it.

I'm reading "Booked to Die" a nice little book about a detective who loves books and is good with people as well, has a problem with a guy he thinks killed a man and decides to change his life. I already have someone who wants me to pass them the book when I finish. That will be 2 finished this month so I may wind up getting 3 read this month.
